The Department of Computer Engineering successfully organized “C Code Quest 2026”, a technical competition aimed at strengthening the programming knowledge and practical coding skills of second-year Computer Engineering students. The event was designed to provide students with an opportunity to apply the concepts learned in the classroom to real-world programming problems using the C programming language. The competition focused on developing logical thinking, debugging skills, analytical ability, and problem-solving techniques, which are essential qualities for every computer engineer. Through a structured series of challenging activities, students were encouraged to think critically, write efficient programs, and solve problems within a limited time. The event also promoted healthy competition, teamwork, confidence, and enthusiasm among participants while preparing them for technical interviews, coding contests, and placement examinations.

Objectives

The primary objective of organizing C Code Quest 2026 was to improve the programming abilities of students and encourage them to develop a strong foundation in C programming. The competition aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of fundamental programming concepts, improve logical and analytical thinking, and enhance debugging and problem-solving skills.
