Web Development with React JS for Third Year

The Department of Computer Engineering successfully organized a Two Days Student Development Program on Web Development with React JS for students. The program was designed to strengthen students’ knowledge of modern web development technologies and provide practical exposure to frontend development.
The program covered the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and React JS. Students were introduced to the process of developing responsive and interactive web pages and modern web applications.
The program followed a combination of theoretical sessions, demonstrations, hands-on practical activities, logic-building challenges, and an online quiz. This approach helped students connect theoretical concepts with practical implementation.

Objectives

• To develop knowledge of CSS and responsive web design.
• To introduce students to Bootstrap and its responsive components.
• To understand the fundamentals of JavaScript programming.
• To introduce students to React JS and component-based development.

• To improve students’ logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• To provide hands-on experience through practical activities.
• To prepare students for industry-oriented web development skills.
• To increase students’ confidence in developing frontend applications.
